According to PRNewswire, From The Earth ("FTE"), the full spectrum U.S. cannabis lifestyle company and 2019 Weedcon Dispensary of the Year, announced today that its Michigan retail facility, From The Earth Provisioning, received its recreational license and will now sell recreational and medical products to adult consumers in the state. The license will allow the fully integrated 8-acre facility seed-to-sale operation to provide cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, distribution, retail and delivery services all in one location through Comco, LLC.
From The Earth Provisioning's new facility currently cultivates 1,500 plants and has the capability to grow up to 20,500 plants on site. The company's Class-C medical and recreational license also grants processing capabilities, which will allow the company to use flower, trim, or shake to create other types of cannabis products, including those requiring extraction. FTE will take the next few weeks to process and streamline these newly licensed services and launch its home delivery service in the coming months.
FTE opened its first retail outpost in Michigan back in January, shortly after the state began allowing recreational cannabis sales on December 1, 2019. Michigan is notably one of the only two states in the Midwest that have legalized medical and recreational consumption and has already logged $31.9 million in sales since December.
"FTE Provisioning is the first fully vertically integrated company, with all facilities on one contiguous piece of property, in the state of Michigan," said Dan Zaharoni, CEO of From The Earth. "We believe that the best way to bring our customers in the Midwest the best products and service is to bring each step under one roof to maintain quality control and excellence."
